Sharmila Bhushan works across Spanish, Hindi, and English as a simultaneous interpreter, and translates both into and from Spanish and Portuguese.
With over three decades of experience, her work spans more than 200 national and international conferences, including UN forums, diplomatic engagements, ministerial dialogues, and government consultations—spaces where precision, nuance, and discretion are essential.
Alongside interpretation, her translation work includes major literary and non-fiction titles published by Penguin Random House South East Asia, reflecting a practice that moves seamlessly between literary expression and technical complexity.
